Η αγαπημένη μου μέχρι στιγμής παραλλαγή των βασικών cookies. Τα κομματάκια Oreo συμπληρώνουν τέλεια το μπισκότο με άρωμα βανίλιας. Συνήθως όταν έχω μπισκότα στο σπίτι καταφέρνω να συγκρατούμαι. Όχι με αυτά.

My favourite variation to my to-go cookies recipe. The chopped-up Oreos pair up perfectly with the vanilla-scented cookie. Usually, when I have cookies around, I manage to behave myself. Nope, not with these guys.

Τώρα που το σκέφτομαι, πάει καιρός που δεν τα έχω φτιάξει, πρέπει να το διορθώσω αυτό σύντομα, έρχονται και Χριστούγεννα, και ψοφάω για σπιτικά μπισκότα + μια κούπα γάλα + ένα καλό βιβλίο + κουλουριασμένη κάτω από την κουβέρτα όταν γυρίζω σπίτι (στο άλλο σπίτι ;) ):D

Now that I think about it, it's been a while since I last made these, I should fix this soon, plus, Holiday season is round the corner, and I'm a total sucker for homemade cookies + a glass of milk + a good book + wrapped up in a blanket when I go home (my other home ;) ) :D

Cake με φράουλες. Καθώς το cake ψήνεται, το σπίτι μυρίζει μαρμελάδα φράουλα. Και μόλις το cake βγει από το φούρνο, καταλαβαίνω γιατί: οι φράουλες έχουν βουλιάξει (λίγο περισσότερο απ'ό,τι θα ήθελα, εγώ ήθελα να τις βλέπω κιόλας :p) και με τη βοήθεια της ζάχαρης σχηματίζουν μικρές λιμνούλες μαρμελάδας. Δεν έχω λόγια.

Strawberry cake. While this was baking my apartment smelt like heavenly strawberry jam. When I took it out I realised why: the strawberries have sunk into the batter (more than I'd liked them too, I wanted to still see some of them! :p) and with a little help from the sugar they've formed little strawberry jam puddles. I rest my case.

Αυτή τη φορά στο βασίλειο των 25 τ.μ. (αντί στην εστία) και με φέτα (αντί με cottage cheese). Δεν ξέρω αν ήταν καλύτερο, ήταν όμως διαφορετικό. Στο μυαλό μου τουλάχιστον ;)

This time in the 25 m2 kingdom (instead of the Cité Universitaire) and with feta cheese (instead of cottage cheese). I don't know if it was better, but it was different. At least in my mind ;)

Αν και εγώ επιμένω πως είναι triple :pppp Δηλαδή σοκολάτα, μέσα σε σοκολάτα κι ύστερα κι άλλη σοκολάτα. Είναι πολύ μαλακά, ίσα που κρατάνε το σχήμα τους... Κάτι υπέροχο ανάμεσα σε cookie και brownie, είναι τέλεια σκέτα, είναι απίστευτα με ένα ποτήρι γάλα κι ακόμα τα λιγουρεύομαι ζεστά από το φούρνο με παγωτό βανίλια...

I'm still insisting it should be triple :pppp As in, chocolate, mixed in chocolate and then some more chocolate. They're extremely soft, they're barely holding their shape... Amazing, not a cookie nor a brownie but something in-between, they're great on their own, even greater with a glass of milk, and I'm still drooling at the thought of them warm from the oven served with vanilla ice cream...

Άνετα ένα από τα καλύτερα γλυκά που έχει βγει από τη μικροσκοπική μου κουζίνα και ένα από τα all-time αγαπημένα μου γλυκά γενικά. Την πρώτη φορά (φυσικά υπήρξαν και επόμενες...) τη μοιραστήκαμε με την Σ. που είχε έρθει à Paris, την Ε. , το Β. και τη Δ - στη Δ. πήγε σε ταπεράκι, κλασσικά :p

By far one of the best things that have ever come out of my tiny kitchen and one of my all-time favourites. The first time (oh yes, there were lots of them) we shared it with S. who was visiting, E., V, and D. - well, D. got it in a tupperware, as always :p

Μuffins βανίλια και σοκολάτα, εμπνευσμένα από ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου μέρη για φαγητό κοντά στο παλιό γραφείο (πριν τη μισητή μετακόμιση). Τα μισά έχουν κάτω σοκολάτα και πάνω βανίλια και τα άλλα μισά το ανάποδο. Και ΟΛΑ έχουν μέσα nutella...

Vanilla and cholate muffins, inspired by one of my favourite lunch places near the old office (before we moved to the oh-I-hate-you-so-much new one). Half of them are chocolate in bottom and vanilla on top and the rest of them quite the opposite. And they are ALL stuffed with nutella...

Τα πρώτα αλμυρά muffins, συνοδευτικό για μια γαβάθα σαλάτα που μοιράστηκα με τη Δ. Είχαμε ξενηστικωθεί να τα περιμένουμε να ψηθούν αλλά άξιζε τον κόπο :D
Ακόμα ψάχνω την ευκαιρία να τα φτιάξω αντικαθιστώντας ένα μέρος του αλευριού με καλαμποκάλευρο όπως έλεγε η συνταγή και με αληθινό cheddar, όχι αυτή τη βλακεία που βρίσκεις στα γαλλικά super. Κάτι μου λέει πως θα είναι ακόμα πιο ωραία!!!

My very first savory muffins, side dish to a giant bowl of salad I shared with D. We were starving waiting for them to bake, but it was worth it, all the way :D
Still trying to find a chance to make them swapping part of the all-purpose flour for cornmeal, as the original recipe asked for, and some real cheddar, not the fake stuff you find in french supermarkets. I have a feeling they may be even better!
