I was wondering who the heads on the building represented and after some searching on the internet found that they are Milton, Scott, Shakespeare, Burns, and Byron; and on the ground floor, from left to right, Wordsworth(?), Burke(?), Peel(?), Galileo and Columbus.. In 1864 the office block was added in the south-east corner facing onto North Derby Street. The chimney is beautifully constructed. I always wonder how the craftsmen kept the shape so mathematically perfect.

I am so pleased with the low light performance of this camera. I always use these jars sitting by the fireplace as a test and both my k100 and k200 did not perform well in low light. This is f/6.3 1/13thsec at i.so 6400. tt's pretty crisp isn't it? Can't wait to get a lot more experience with my new camera.
