My favorite time of the year. Only 10 days til Christmas. I just wish it would start feeling like it. We've had some weird weather as of late. Last week it was in the 80s. The beaches were even crowded. Anyways Christmas shopping is done (started back in August), presents are wrapped and hidden in strategically difficult to find spots around the house (just hope I remember where I put everything come Christmas Eve), our tree went up the weekend before Thanksgiving, and I'm ready to start listening to Christmas music. :)

I've had this idea for 3 years now. But I skipped it last year and the year before because I could not find a paper shredder with a see through chamber. Couldn't find one this year either so I improvised. I used a fish tank instead. :D The top of the "shredder" is cardboard spray painted black with a slit in the top for the paper to fit through. Photoshopped the necktie and hand warning symbols (which are too small to notice really). And there you have it.

Not as cool as our card from last year. But I didn't have the time or energy to put into it this year. The last month and a half of the year just seemed to go by way to quick.

Anyways, hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. Didn't take many pictures on X-mas morning. Took maybe two pictures. I prefer shooting video over photos on Christmas morning. Put together this video, which I would post to Flickr if not for the 90 second limit (or has that limit changed during my Flickr hiatus?):

Three more days til Christmas. Looking forward to it. It's always been my favorite holiday. Setting up and decorating the tree, looking at decked out houses, the shopping and wrapping (enjoy both), yes even the Christmas music, sending out and receiving cards, and of course watching the kids open their presents.

One day til Christmas...and I haven't been shooting many Christmassy type shots. I guess I will try to squeeze in as many as I can today.
