Another early morning in the workout room…&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I don’t know where I would be in my life without music, and exercise is included in all of that.  I have 972 songs programmed into this little MP3 player, and I have just begin to use it’s hard drive.  I love that I can work out for a week and never hear the same song twice… longer than that actually.  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Once an hour I hear either a Rush or an R.E.M. song… that’s just the volume of their songs in there.  And I love that I have the most random songs in the mix.  It keeps it fresh whether I am lifting weights, on a treadmill, or walking through the neighborhoods.  If only I could wear it when I swam!!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

&lt;p&gt;I have been swimming lately.  A lot actually.  On the weekends I swim 72 laps with is over 2 miles and just short of my 3 Mile Lifetime Dream.  I had a dream to swim 2 miles which I completed, but didn’t keep swimming.  Now I’m swimming 4 days a week and unfortunately I have a very, very tender elbow from all the swimming.&lt;br /&gt;

Today begins the third week of my healthy regime… I had been doing this for one week before I started this photo weight loss blog which I think I needed to get the momentum going.  When I weighed in I was on track for my goals, and I have decided not to weigh in again until next Monday.  That’s a little hard for me as I like to see the progress… but I think it’s an unhealthy attachment (to the scale) that can have an adverse effect…&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My feature today is one of the many charts that I keep.  This is specifically related to the tribute to my sister- to the exercises that she never did.  Had she done them in her life she would not have gone to an early grave.  I exercise for myself in her memory so I do not share the same fate.  Truth is I probably over exercise.  I lift weights (mostly for toning and not really building) 60 minutes per day, I go for a slow-paced walk in the morning and usually hit the inclined treadmill in the evening.  That doesn’t even account for swimming!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I’m hoping to be able to add swimming back into my regime very soon.  It’s hard because of time, and because if I add in swimming then I have no idea how I will meet my minimum calorie threshold… today I was under by 700+.  Not good, but I’m learning as I go… At least I’m not in the 2,000 under like I was for so long!&lt;/p&gt;</description>
