As we passed the practicing sailboats, their sails reflected the evening sun which looked really awesome against the blue blue water of the river.

You can walk a land bridge to this island most of the year unless the river is really high.

I imagine there's a certain charm to living in a floating house on the river. These particular houses, though, are far too close to the noisy Sellwood Bridge. No charm in that.

All the floating houses near Oaks Park looked charming and lovely, but this weird futuristic one at the very end of the row stuck out like a sore thumb.

There were A LOT of people at Sellwood Riverfront Park. I think there was a concert there.

See those benches on the shore? Those were totally underwater not that long ago when the river was at flood stage, thanks to all the melting snow in the mountains.

One of the most fun museums you will ever visit. And look, they even have a submarine! You can purchase a ticket to tour the sub, which is pretty cool.
