Santa Anita Queen and a Princess from Sunshine Millions Day.
Oddly enough, for those of you who are interested in having their picures viewed, this photo was viewed by very few people for the first two months. After joining Score Me! (Post 1, Score 5) , suggestions were made that I should closely crop a horseracing picture. I then cropped three princesses out of this photo. Folks viewed it. One who commented had lots of tags on his photos. I imitated him and used a thesarus to list tags. I joined a dozen groups and really pimped this photo.

My goal was to join and post in Views: 1000. I finally made it. And a picture that I cropped and posted on April 1 ( static.flickr.com/19/121539433_f6911e100b_o.jpg ) will soon replace this one.

Am I proud of myself? No! This is not an especially interesting photo. It certainly isn't the best shot of these two. It isn't my best.

Certainly, I appreciate female beauty as much or more than many other guys. And if you look at Yahoo popular photos you'll see more of the same sorts of shots of models.

I'll be proud if if my photography improves. And part of the trip here did help me become a more critical and better photographer. 'Nuff said.

Caldwell, along with recording an album, is the co-host of the TV Guide Channel's live pre-show "Idol Tonight." The hour-long program, which airs at 7 p.m. ET/PT (along with additional repeats), shoots at the same location as "Idol" and features other former contestants among its guests.

"We have the entire audience, so we talk about each contestant, what's going to happen this week," Caldwell said. "We talk to experts, fashion designers, makeup, vocal coaches and then each one of their fans, and that's where we get the crazy stuff. By the time we get done with them and send them in for the show, they're really pumped up. Some of these people drove 20 hours just to see the show, so the least we can do is hype them up a little more."
