With my 50mm lens now officially sent off to repair after one more time trying to deal with it's broken auto focus, I am going to be so bored for the next couple weeks because it is the only lens I use. gah.
Expect ALOT of outtake edits, oh well.

I'm thinking about selling my sony set and getting a Nikon d300s. I just feel like it is time for me to upgrade to something of better DSLR quality and learn with it, plus since since my photography and design class deals with Nikon's it would be a plus to be completely comfortable with one type of camera instead of switching back and forth between models. hopefully it will happen!

Spring break flew by so fast for me! Only one day left, but it was well spent with my siblings from Pittsburgh and grandparents visiting from Spain! This is my brother Yarden modeling in the Taru Gardens here in South Florida for me even though he had no idea what he was doing. And the fish are actually real, just part of another photo! Here you can swim with them, and they nibble your feet. But, he's going into the Israeli army starting in the summer for 3 years. and My sister Shani will also be going their to represent the USA in the Israeli Olympics. I'm going to miss them, but wish them all the luck.

Also, recently I've been honored to pair in a partnership with The House of Marley by contributing pictures every once in a while in a blog based on "A day in the Life". The first one has already been published here so go check it, and their products, out!

And Happy Easter to the ones who celebrate it!

This is a concept I've had in my mind for a while, I'm at that age in my life when I'm realizing I'm not a little kid anymore. I've started driving, I'm looking for potential jobs, I worry about money and I'm starting to really focus in on what college I want to go to and what I want to do with my life. It's scary, not long ago I felt like I was a little kid. Just innocently playing in a park or riding a carousel. It's rather crazy how time flies by so fast, because it truly does.

I'm at that age where I'm lost between adulthood and childhood. I know there's other transitions.. like turning 18... and officially becoming an adult at 21. But 16 is a brutal turning point, but I'm getting by. One day at a time.

Yet another photo from my shoot with Charlotte, I never get tired of editing those photos.

This was a spur of the moment edit I really wanted to do 1. So you know I'm still alive and 2. because it describes me right now. In the past 3 weeks so much has happened, and photography has been the last thing on my mind.

I just need to focus.

This is my first conceptual photo taken in a studio! It's really interesting learning more about flashes, lighting, and basically more camera related stuff rather than photoshop.

It's something that's sort of a new years resolution for me; to become more "camera smart" and I'm glad I'm off to a good start, because this is really fun :)

I took this with my FIRST EVER CAMERA REMOTE! this thing is so handy. i don't know why i didn't invest in one earlier... now I just gotta keep saving up for that macbook and a photoshop cs5 or 6 and i'm set!

This year I can honestly say that I've grown the most in photography. I would never of thought I would be were i am with this today, and I never would of thought that having a camera would be one of the most important things to me. I would of never of thought that it was something i would want to do for the rest of my life, but after shooting for Daytime Radness, getting emails from other photographers saying how much they love my work, and taking pictures for basically every school event, I really can say i don't want to do anything else. And basically, I just wanted to thank everyone who has supported me and helped me become the photographer I am over this year. thank you to my family who bought me everything from lenses, to tripods, and props for my photos, and thank you to people like Trinia and Olivia who were the first people who really introduced me to a camera. Thank you Max , Noah , and my photo teachers for teaching me more about cameras and photoshop. Thank you Tamara , Mitch, Yas , Julia, Paloma and anyone else who understood my ideas for photos and didn't think i was wierd hahaha. and thank you to anyone else who has ever been in a photo for me or helped me take a photo in any way, I would never have been able to do anything without you guys.

Growing in creativity and knowledge has allowed me to be able to create things in photoshop that blow my own mind and has allowed me to take photos of sports, portraits, weddings, parties, and basically anything and it's crazy how much I've realized I've learned through all of this. So thank you again for helping me get closer and closer to my dream of becoming a professional photographer.

This year I basically just asked for money to keep putting towards my Macbook Pro fund. hopefully I will be getting it soon! I'm so sick of this old laptop that can't even handle an Adobe program more advanced then elements 6.0.. which i currently have -.-

oh well. Today's about being thankful right? And I really am thankful I have a computer and any adobe program after all :)

And here's one of my brothers new toys! before it got stuck on our neighbors roof.. oops.

So, yesterday i found out i have a final photo due wednesday. between the other 5 classes I've been absorbed in because of finals soon and this i was pretty stressed for time and even though this photo is done i still have much more to do for the project.

Basically, this was a complete spur of the moment photo shoot. I called my 2 friends up, got one (Charlotte) to dress in this crazy hippie thing and jump in the water. and yet again, i had a better plan to accomplish this sequence to my first trial run at adding scales, but until i find actual time to do photos... these will have to do.

oh and the scales were actually not from an online picture. I don't really like taking random pictures from google and putting them into my photos, then i feel like its not all "me". so i had my dad catch a fish in our lake so i could take a picture. lol.
