I've been pretty lazy since visiting Austria and barely lifted my camera in 4 months. I blame it on the cold Northern Ireland winter and my desire to hibernate through it ;)

This evening I spotted from 20 or so miles away the snowy peaks of the Mourne Mountains and couldn't resist an impromptu trip before the sun set. I arrived at Spelga Reservoir in the heart of the Mournes just in time to capture this lovely scene!

The Hideaway (Autumn)

I really love this spot, every time I return to it I'm treated to something different! On this occasion, a fantastic autumn landscape and a bit of light flooding. I've now shot this location in almost every season, check them out in the Hideaway set. Since my last visit just over a year ago the building has completely collapsed in the middle. I hope to continue shooting it over time as nature reclaims it.

A shot of the beautiful Glencar Waterfall I took a few months back on my trip to Sligo. The entire area is a breathtaking example of Irish scenery!

Craigmore Viaduct

I don't know how many times I've drove past this fantastic viaduct and meant to come back and shoot it. Well I finally did and it's a great spot!! Also know as The 18 Arches it's actually the highest viaduct in Ireland, well worth a visit.

Coney Island is located not far from the centre of Sligo and is accessible via a fantastic drive across the sand when tides are low. Great scenery in every direction, inparticular this lovely little hidden cove!

So I finally got around to getting a new camera! Decided to upgrade to a Canon 600D, haven't had a proper play around with it other than this quick shot. Especially looking forward to start filming a bit of HDDSLR video :)

Spotted this awesome river and spot whilst driving to Slieve League Cliffs.

I think it's Bungosteen River (forgot to find out when shooting). Best guess based on Google Maps, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong :)

Carlingford Wreck

I spotted this old wreck by chance just on the edge of Carlingford. The sun was nearly entirely set and it was pretty dark so I'm really pleased with how the lighting turned out on this photo. I wouldn't normally attempt an HDR shot when the light was this low but sometimes it pays off to try something new!
