I'm so glad I don't live in Big Spring, TX... What's the first thing you see upon entering this town? A whole row of refineries! They stink and make my eyes hurt to look at. Actually the smell will probably hit you before you see it... Why put them right next to the main road running through town? It's not like there isn't plenty of barren unused desert out there they could have used instead...
Driving through most of the towns west of Ft Worth on I-20 is just depressing.
