It was the first time that I managed to get a better picture of the moon. Sometimes you need to go to manual mode in order to get the effect you want and shooting the moon is one of the cases, otherwise it will be just a bright ball in the sky. That night the moon was almost full and it was shining bright in the sky. Just beautiful!

As a busy mom, it's been hard to take time for taking pictures, downloading, editing on Lightroom and then posting them on Flickr. But that doesn't mean I don't take pictures anymore. This picture was taken almost 2 months ago but only now I was able to upload since I had no Internet at home for 6 weeks. Luxembourg can be quite beautiful with the snow.

I've been quiet on the last few weeks but for a good reason. I wad busy packing my home in Seattle. My family and I came for a new adventure in Europe, more precisely Luxembourg.

Although I had hoped that 2012 would be different than 2011, 2012 was an incredibly busy and insane year. Lots have happened in my personal life that kept me away from photography but I did manage to post a few shots (only 54 throughout the whole year! an average of one per week). When it was time to renew my Flickr account, I wondered whether it was worth it or not to keep it and decided to give it another shot. I really hope that 2013 will be different. I know that life will be different for me and my family for sure since we have a lot of changes coming up....

This is a quick shot that I took at NYE of the Seattle skyline. I wish a had a tripod with me because the picture is shaken, but this picture had a lot of potential. :-)
