Elm Trees of Central Park, New York City

I took this in Central Park, NYC during my last year trip in Spring. The trees were showing new leafs and looking very vibrant. Loved every moment of being there... I am planning for a weekend trip again this summer and hopefully I will have more snaps..
Tech: Canon 5D mark III, EF 24-105, single shot, 1/4 sec; f/14; ISO 50, Raw imported in LR, processed in CS6.

This image is a combination of several images (Verto/Pano) rama, stitched together. Full size image is about 95 mega pixels and it lets you see the details of windows on buildings. Let me know if you are interested in it.

New York City - From Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center was originally opened to the public in 1933, offering fantastic 360 degree views of the New York City skyline, including fantastic views of Central Park, the Empire State Building, Hudson and East Rivers.

About the Image:
I processed this image from my archives (visit to big apple during spring time.). I took this picture from Top of the rock after sunset. You can see the Empire state building along with other major buildings. Camera used was Canon 5D mark III with Canon EOS 24-105 F/4 L IS lens, few exposures @24mm, at F5.6, ISO-50. Raw files was imported in LR4.1, HDR created in photomatix with additional steps processed in CS6.

During the spring break, I was in NYC with my family, We decided to go to the top of Empire estate building. It was very windy at top, I had to keep very high ISO in order to take handheld pics.. Thanks for stopping by,..

I took this picture after the dinner near Brooklyn Bridge park. It was a beautiful warm night with cool breeze.. Took this opportunity to take few pics (60+ sec long exposures). Later I created this Panorama out of those pictures.

Tech: Canon 5D mark III, Canon EOS 24-105 L IS Lens, @F16, ISO-50, few shots taken at 180 - 300 Sec exposures, Raw imported in LR and processed, Panorama created in CS5.

I took this picture from my hotel room at about 10.00 PM at night. Colors of light were changing constantly. I was glad to see these colors on fall.

Tech : Single shot, 2 min exposure at F16 using Canon EOS 24-105 F/4 L IS lens. Camoera used was Canon 5D mark III.

I am working in east coast these days. I flew my family with me on this trip. We went to New York for shopping and dinner. After dinner, when we were returning to hotel, my wife said, look at Manhattan skyline, it was looking stunningly beautiful and clear in night. We drove to Weehawken Waterfront Park on Jersey side to see the Manhattan skyline.
We spent some time there and I took the opportunity to take few pictures. Later at hotel, I created this panorama with 5 images stitching together. Combined image is about 50 megapixels. You can print 24” X 72” image without pixilation. Contact me if you want to buy / use it.

I took this shot at about 10 PM in month of April. It was a typical spring night. We were about to get out from there when I took this one. You can see the Empire State Building in Green color as well.

I was in Philly during evening time.Sky behind the museum was turing golden with sunset and was looking so beautiful. I was moved by the beauty and tried to capture it.

Central Park : Elm Trees

The American elm trees are one of the main attractions in Central park. They form a cathedral-like canopy. These elms are one of the largest and last remaining stands in North America, and one of the Parks most photographed areas.

I took this snap on a sunny afternoon. Single shot taken with Canon 5D Mark III camera with EF 24-105 L F/4 IS Lens. Raw image was processed using LR 4.1. Further processing was done using CS5.

It was raining when I was passing by Bryant Park in New York. Surprisingly no one was in park. I took out my camera and took this snap. Camera used was Canon 5D mark III with EF 24-105 F/4 L IS lens. Raw image imported in LR1, processed using CS5.

Times Square, iconified as "The Crossroads of the World and the "The Great White Way",is the brightly illuminated hub of the Broadway theater district,one of the world's busiest pedestrian intersections,and a major center of the world's entertainment industry. Trinity Church - New York City

The first Trinity Church building, a modest rectangular structure with a gambrel roof and small porch, was constructed in 1698. According to historical records, Captain William Kidd lent the runner and tackle from his ship for hoisting the stones.

Queen Anne of England increased the parish's land holdings to 215 acres (870,000 m2) in 1705. Later, in 1709, William Huddleston founded Trinity School as the Charity School of the church, and classes were originally held in the steeple of the church. In 1754, King's College (now Columbia University) was chartered by King George II of Great Britain and instruction began with eight students in a school building near the church.

During the American Revolutionary War the city became the British military and political base of operations in North America, following the departure of General George Washington and the Continental Army shortly after Battle of Long Island and subsequent local defeats. Under British occupation clergy were required to be Loyalists, while the parishioners included some members of the revolutionary New York Provincial Congress, as well as the First and Second Continental Congresses.
