I arrived at Cradle Mountain just in time for sunset (after taking a slight detour).... There wasnt alot of cloud around but the colour that was there reflected beautifully in the smooth lake.....

What a difference a few days can make to a location..... Shot here on Saturday and came away with nothing...... fortunately I had a chance to very quickly get back late this afternoon just as the sun was setting...... This is one of my favourite spots.

I have a facination with old Jetty's at the moment and this one didnt disappoint.... Looking forward to heading back to this area sooner rather than later (fingers crossed for after work tomorrow) and capturing some colour......

Thinking I was going to have more success on Friday night (which was not the case) I probably in hindsight posted the previous image a little eagerly....

I have gone back to my first shoot, tweaked a few things and yes re-processed in B&W.....

What a great learning experience this was... thank you Mark for your patience..... see i did pay attention.

Looking forward to doing this again soon.

Caught up with Mark and Brendan tonight to learn star trailing (still to come) and the night started with a woolspin in front of the full moon.... great way to start a fab night.
