So I go to calf pasture for the first time since spring '11 thinking about the great shots I can get from the pier at sunset just to find out it was damaged by Irene and this was the furthest I can go. At first I still saw great colors and light in this shot but once I remembered the feeling of disappointment I decided B&W was needed as well as stronger darks and shadows to represent my mood at that split moment. I think it came out nice considering :)

Taking a break from the craziness of the city I've come back to this candid I took of a father and son during a trip to the beach with my daughter. A beautiful moment I will no longer envy shortly because my baby took her first steps this week!!!!!!!!

On what was most likely the last nice weather day in January I went for a nice walk at the beach and saw row upon row of picnic table tilted up as if they were sun bathing so I did my best to capture this scene of symmetry/oddity...

The colors a sunset brings! As the title say, shot from the roof with mt Sigma 10-20 and worked on in Lightroom to bring out the pink and blue hues more...Hope you like!

I was taking a break at work and noticed how the reflection in the windows almost perfectly completed the skyline the building blocks so I had to take a shot. I altered the temperature, added a little more contrast to the clouds and played with vibrance & saturation a bit in lightroom 3.
