Okay, I let today get way to busy and once again fell back on a bokeh shot while driving. At least this time I was at a stop light. And this one kind of looks like a face. That's something... right?

Quiet and quite beautiful. Some might call it a lightning/electrical storm. I grew up in the south calling it heat lightning. I like the sound of that.

Jammies, night-night books, reading... cuteness abounds as we continue the night time rituals with the 11mo (almost 1yo... woohoo!). It is still weird doing night-night time with the sun still up at 8pm.

Rocked it on the drums with Welaware tonight in Columbia Heights at the Star Bar.

This is the first pic that wasn't posted the same day it was taken in the last 147 days. Yet I had to post it before going to bed. That way it still seems like the same day for me.

Oh and it looks better without the white background.

Okay really it was more like 9:45 slide but that doesn't have the same ring to it. I started by trying to take a simple shot of the moon and ended up running around the yard in black clothes and popping flashes on everything. A lovely way to spend a beautiful evening.

Strobist info: sb600 at full power once an a bunch of 1/32 power pops triggered by a mysterious man in black.
