Executed at around noon, with very bright sunlight coming from the left, behind Stephans frontside grab.

one sb-600 @ 1/8 cam left, clamped to the balustrade via gorilla pod.

During my walkaround at the Main river in Frankfurt I heard some familiar sounds... decks hittings copings!
So I headed under this bridge where I asked the guys if it was cool if i took some snaps of them. This is Rüdiger steezing off a FS Rock'n Roll.

I initially set up a 2 light, crosslighting set-up, but only one Cactus receiver would trigger...

Ever tried lighting your glass?
Most common critical issue: eliminating reflexions.

I was playing around with my strobes, trying to visualize the aperture fins and thought about what Dave would do?
Remembered his article on Lighting for Glasses:

Piece'o'Cake; (take a look at the large version if you like)

if you keep in mind focussing at your spot in a 75° angle (bouncing the strobes off the ceiling in this case softened the rather large amount of light tremendously though).

SB-600 snooted at 1/2 power & 70mm at camera right
SB-24 at 1/1 & 85mm at camera left

bounced off ceiling (3m)

BG: Opened Laptop with cellutaped sheet of white paper.

A panning shot taken of a passing car in Frankfurt after the semi-final soccer match Germany vs. Turkey which Germany won by 3:2.

People were going nuts driving through the streets screaming and hanging out of their vehicles.
