How about this, partner? It's just the rough piecing pattern so don't worry about the colours - and I will add a mannequin stalk at the bottom. Am I on the right track this time?

What do you think partner? If the coloured rows were complete (as long as the far right one) and with white/cream hexies in the rows between?

Perhaps some perle cotton hand quilting in the cream rows?

In the ball park? Or should I scrap the hexies and start again? (btw, the colours are nicer than they look here!)

The olfa rotary cutter is just an ordinary large-ish one, so you can see there's plenty of room for sewing supplies, or makeup, or....?

One end of the zip is better than the other, but it was my first attempt at making little end tab thingys, and I have to say that the Oh! Fransson tutorial was amazing - any lopsidedness is down to me!

Speak now partner if you want the other patchwork panel rather than this one. I will make it into a pouch eventually but will bump it up the to-do list if you would rather have the Sherbert Pips!

And there is a bit more stitching on than the last set of photos. I couldn't lay off the perle cottons and added a bit more here and there...!
