I've always thought that ICM can be quite interesting, and in fact I'd tried it out a few times years ago, but hadn't really tried it much again until I saw some really neat stuff from my flickr contacts. Have been trying out a bit of it, and it's hard to resist ...

thanks so much everyone for your visits and comments on my previous photos, and also for the recommendations for Paris. I had a day and a half and spent it walking different neighborhoods and feeling the vibe, from Montmartre (which I like a lot specially in the evenings), to the Marais, ambled along the Seine near Notre Dame and watched the sun set from Pont Neuf, sat at cafes and watched the Parisian world go by, and of course take a few (well perhaps a lot) of shots ...

but now it's back to reality, and even though I'm around, I probably won't have much time to comment and such due to time and other pressures. I'll be looking at your photos though (because I am addicted to them), and commenting when I get a chance ... not sure when I will have the time to go through my photos from Paris

this is the facade of the establishment that the men in my previous posted photo were chillin' out at ... If you're in DC, check out madam's organ for some relaxed live music ... this wall art of the vibrant redhead is such a recognizable feature of the Adam's Morgan neighborhood

on the shores of Wapta falls, in Yoho national park ... it was an almost surreal place, in the blazing afternoon sun, the deafening roar of the mighty Wapta falls (see image below), but not another soul in sight... you get to the base of the falls by a 2 mile hike through thick forests, and can have the place all to yourself. this photo was taken just a little downstream of the falls ...

the rough waters were smoothed by the slight long exposure. this is one of the images from my trip that I like the most, as I had no idea exactly how the patterns of the ripples would turn out, and I was pleasantly surprised
