Went for a walk at Hanover Point this evening. A lovely warm orange sunset brought the cliff's sedimentary colours out in a wonderful tone. In the foreground of this photograph are the fossilised remains of a tree trunk that would have stood somewhere close by, over 100 million years ago, during the Early Cretacious period. About 50 yards from this location you can find Dinosaur footprints in the rocks at low tide.
