Panorama of the Rockwood Parade & the Garavogue River in Sligo back in January. Taken on the same night as the image below, but from the opposite riverbank. I went a bit crazy with the panos that night...

A bit of a last minute job with the 52 tonight! Tried a pano of the Hughes Bridge and the Quays. Would have preferred to be out a little earlier in the blue hour, less fog or smoke on the left, more lights in the middle, maybe crop out the light at the end...ahh i'll get it again...

I worked in this building for many years, from the age of 12, on school holidays etc. The business moved on a few years ago and the building is vacant since. The site was nearly another 'boom time' development but the proposed developments never materialised. I had to go back there this month to do an energy cert on it - amazing to see how it has deteriorated from the busy building I remember - and you can guess the energy rating!

First entry for this years 52/52 project.....same as the first entry for last years 52/52, The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo.

Im going to try and stick to the theme of "Sligo - Town & County" but not strictly, as I found last year it was difficult enough to stick to the deadline nevermind sticking to a theme!

The New Italian Quarter on Tobergal Lane in Sligo, home to A Casa Mia, Bistro Bianconi and Gullivers Restaurant. No shutter speed could capture those chefs, they were moving so quickly!
