An image of Chinatown and the Chinese New Year Snake that is about 300 metres in length. Taken from a HDB building which overlooks this busy junction. Also got a couple of timelapses up here for my next timelapse, based on Singapore. Used f/22 and ISO 50 to obtain a slow-shutter speed of 1.3 seconds, I wanted to add motion to the scene (i.e. the car blur) too give the viewer a feel for the 'rushed' pace all over Chinatown.

First upload from Singapore, went out to explore Bishan Park (Ang Mo Kio Park) and it's HDB (Housing Development Board) flats, had a little wander around before sunset, managed to grab this image as blue hour was creeping in.

An image of the newly completed Shard, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, a Thames River Ferry, a couple London Buses, the River Thames, South London and some rather gloomy looking clouds. Taken from the top of Riverbank House, RBC's London Office.
This is a frame from a timelapse I shot on top of my work office, which looks rather awesome if I may say so myself.

Here is a shot of the every growing skyline of London, this was taken from the top of the private balcony I got access too from work and I sure did have fun up there! Braving the cold I managed to get a fair few shots that I had in mind but my toes did suffer a little.
Ignore the EXIF, used a fully manual lens for this shot.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

A two image exposure blend of train trails at London Bridge station, I am starting to do more 'Exposure Blends' as they are the perfect way to create situations that are usually quiet rare, such as two trains passing on adjacent platforms at the same time!

This is a new personal favourite, and hopefully a new view of the Shard!

A different view of the Shard from the bank of the thames I shot the other evening. The array of coloured lights make for interesting reflections, the low tide reveals a mass of foreground interest that is otherwise hidden.

A 'Christmassy' image of Leadenhall Market, have been wanting to shoot this for a while - visited this late at night so that it would be empty, it was worth it! Got this shot on the photo crawl with Michael Murphy, John Esslinger, Scott Baldock, Mattomatto and Yorkshire Stacked. An image of Tower Bridge taken at low-tide at night. The riverbed reveals some interesting foreground material so I much prefer this stretch of the river at low tide.
Finally managed to get out for a full day with my 5D2, absolutely loved it! Can't wait to get out again with it soon!

Evening light shines on the Docklands skyline, this image portrays the warmth of the evening light on a hot summers day. The birds are real and haven't been added in photoshop, it was just luck that a group of seagulls flew by about this time!

Another image of Trevone, Cornwall. This shot was taken at low tide on the rocky outcrops of Trevone, the beach (seen in my previous image of Trevone) is a couple mins walk around the headland seen in the distance here. One thing I loved about the waters of Cornwall was that there was so many shades of blue!

Went up to the capital again a couple nights back and was pleased to see the tide way out, was surprised with the colour produced in the sky considering the horizon was covered in cloud! I've been wanting to try this composition for a while since Ray Wise got a few shots here a few weeks back!

Best viewed on BLACK. It looks much better large because the contrast is greater!

So the South East of the UK received its snow for the year this morning. Been waiting for the snow for a while and have had this shoot planned for when the time arrived! This morning it did, sunrise was non-existent due to complete white wash in the sky.
Snow really does make the scenery look different, gone for a B/W here because there is little colour in the picture in the first place.

So decided to take a trip to the QE2 Bridge (Or Dartford Crossing to some of you) and had an absoloutly fantastic evening shooting this incredibly photogenic bridge! The bridge is situated in Dartford and crosses the Thames to Lakeside/Thurrock. It is named after Queen Elizabeth II and is rarely photographed. The tide was out when this picture was taken but the mud in the foreground is where you do not want to be standing.
This bridge is practically starburst heaven so if you love them you should love this :P
I have lit the foreground with a torch to bring out those little glossy reflections in the pebbles.
Should definaetly be visiting this place again and cannot wait to do so!

Found this in the archives - don't know how I missed it because it's actually alright. I've cropped this thinner because of a lack of interest in the foreground, and messing up the composition originally meant it looked a bit flat.
I really like the "drag" on the water here, gives a real sense of motion I think.
