A small Bonsai tree sits on the edge of Hoan Kiem Lake in Central Hanoi, Vietnam. This Bonsai tree can be found in the gardens of Ngoc Son Temple.

The clouds part above Vua Meo Palace in the town of Bac Ha, North-Western Vietnam. This French colonial era building has some stunning architecture but I feel the 'upkeep' of the building is not up to scratch.

Image taken at Dubai Marina, I spent a good few hours in this location admiring all the expensive and large private Yachts, some can be chartered I think! One of the most interesting Marina's I have ever visited, certainly a view to remember!
They didn't seem to happy with my using my tripod so my GorillaPod came in very handy at this point, they seem'd to have put railings up everywhere in Dubai.

Finally managed to get out and spin some wire-wool again - enjoyed this little photo outing very much with Olly and Miles. Been wanting to spin in this tunnel for a while.
The wire wool was spun for about 30 seconds, the rest of the tunnel was illuminated using an old manual external flash.

Sorry for not posting/commenting for a while, been having a few issues with my new gear, getting it sorted soon though I hope

An image of Tower Bridge taken at low-tide at night. The riverbed reveals some interesting foreground material so I much prefer this stretch of the river at low tide.
Finally managed to get out for a full day with my 5D2, absolutely loved it! Can't wait to get out again with it soon!

Evening light shines on the Docklands skyline, this image portrays the warmth of the evening light on a hot summers day. The birds are real and haven't been added in photoshop, it was just luck that a group of seagulls flew by about this time!

I shall be inactive for a few days so don't give up hope on my stream and me yet!

A different approach to a shallow depth of field shot, using the 10-20 here to obtain it. Never really thought of it before! I haven't added any effects, the flare just caused the warm light across the image.

This was only supposed to be a test shot with my newly acquired Photax 28mm f/2.8 M42 Mount lens but this idea of mine actually came out alright!
This lens is a little soft at f/2.8 but thats kind of expected of a lens of this age.

Image of a floor in the Lloyd's Building in London as the first morning rays shine in, taken during 'Open House London 2012' - a very fascinating building with very interesting architecture and floor plans. The lower floors are much more cramped than the upper floors, this is about the 3rd or 4th floor I think.

A big thanks to Olly Plumstead for the location idea, this field is stunning, it stretches along way across this valley, and slopes up and down the hills!
I really want to revisit this soon!
For this I used 3 shots, merged in Photomatix Pro but only tweaked, I used the "Compressor" mode to keep it realistic!
