If you love the style of Mad Men as much as I do, then you will love this vintage pencil necklace. It reminds me of the necklace that Mad Men's Joanie Holloway (the redhead) often wears. And it's not just decorative...the pencil still has lead in it! This necklace is one-of-a-kind and sixth in my Joan Holloway Series

The best part is that you can customize this necklace and make it your own. The photos show the fountain pen on an antiqued brass tone chain, dotted with tiny, faceted seafoam glass beads, but you can choose which color beads (if any) you like best. Your options are seafoam, deep red, white, black, blue, sea glass green and more. I will send you a photo of the bead colors after you check out

This pencil is very unusual--it's very only an 1/8 inch (.3 cm) wide and either gold-filled or gold plated. It is in excellent vintage condition

The fountain pen is from the 1920's and is 1/20 gold-filled. It is beautifully engraved with a 14K gold nib. It is in very good vintage condition

The fountain pen is 18K gold-filled. It is beautifully engraved with a 14K gold nib. It is in very good vintage condition--the only imperfection is that there is a tiny hole in the cap (I cannot tell if it is supposed to be there or not). The hole is visible in the fifth photo

Ever wonder what Holly Golightly of Breakfast at Tiffany's did with her cigarette holder when she wasn't dangingly it from her mouth in a way that only Audrey Hepburn could make appealing? That's right, she collapsed it and wore it around her neck! OK, maybe she didn't, but I think she would have appreciated this necklace. And don't think that you need to be a smoker to rock this necklace--I am by no means condoning smoking!

Antique collapsable cigarette holder (fits neatly into cylindrical case) from the late 1940's hangs from an antiqued brass-toned chain, dotted with deep orange beads. The beads are hand-wrapped and add the perfect touch of color. This necklace is limited edition.

CIGARETTE HOLDER: 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) closed, 3 inches (7.6 cm) when the cigarette holder is taken out of the case and expanded. Please note that the cigarette holder is vintage and the case has slight discoloration/spotting (most visible in second photo)

The birds are each roughly 2.5 inches (6.2 cm) long, from beak to tail feather and are made of brass, with an antiqued brass plating. The birds are lead-free.
