Client: Radisson Blu operates the hotel and congress parts

The complex is built for three functions, called Waterfront Building (for offices), Radisson Blu Stockholm Waterfront (for hotel) and Stockholm Waterfront (for congresses). Architect is the White arkitekter firm.

The stainless façade was constructed from duplex stainless steel Z-profiles, 3 to 16 meters in length, approx. 26 km in total…

Media Evolution City was designed to create opportunities for growth and development within the media industry. Media companies both large and small, innovators, creators, academia and the public sector is supposed to meet, exchange ideas and grow together in a purpose-built, stimulating environment.

Urban Price winner in Malmö 2012.
By converting a former industrial hall together with new construction the architects have created an exciting work environment for an incubator for the media industry with the potential to create synergies for both business, as for the surrounding environment for innovation. It is a great contribution to the urban environment in Malmö. Media Evolution City won the "best in show" title.

Skanska has built a new office building to include management and administration of Malmö University. The building must meet the requirements for the EU GreenBuilding label. This means that the buildings energy usage will be at least 25% lower than the requirements.

The City Hall has a lavishing marble facade towards Föreningsgatan but despite this it is a remarkably anonymous and prosaic office building. The interior is casual with a floor plan based on a cellular office concept.
