The golden light of a colorful sunrise reflects off of the South Fork of the Snake River as it winds through Swan Valley, Idaho.

For this shot I used the Lucroit Filter Holder with a Formart Hitech 3 stop GND filter on the Nikon 14-24mm lens.

It was cold (16 degrees F) but worth it to watch the sunrise at Market Lake near Idaho Falls. If you look carefully some of the 300 or so wind turbines east of Idaho Falls are visible on the foothills on the right of the image.

A number of gravel bars are evident in the South Fork of the Snake River with the normally low flow this time of year. The b+w conversion was done in Photoshop CS6 using what else but the "Black & White" tool ;-)
