I took these photos of some loose pelicans that were hanging around a pond area. It was really surprising to turn the corner and see a bunch of pelicans standing there 3 feet tall. I hope you enjoy! Leave a comment and tell me what you think of the processing.

The Twelve Apostles

The Twelve Apostles was one of the scenic attractions I was most looking forward to in Australia. We had driven down the Great Ocean Road all day when we got to Port Campbell, checked into the hotel and then headed back out to catch the sunset here. This was one of the last pictures we took there and probably my favorite.

Kangaroo From Maru Animal Park Phillip Island, Australia

During our stay on Phillip Island, we went to several different wildlife parks. All of these gave us the opportunity to feed and pat the kangaroos, wallabies, emus etc. This photo was taken at the Maru Koala and Animal Park just outside of Phillip Island. This was a really nice place that had a large kangaroo enclosure and was the first time we came face to face (literally) with a kangaroo.

Lake Mead Sailboats

This was my first weekend of photography with my own camera. I had just bought a Nikon D3000 (which replaced the Canon Rebel xs I had just returned) and we went to vegas for a few days. On the way back we stopped at Lake Mead where we found these colorful sailboats on the lake. I enjoyed using my camera and 3 days later I returned it and bought a Nikon D90.
