Redemption

Day 366:
I have redeemed myself.
It did not come easy. This project beat me down more than I would like it to have had, but I came out on top. I won. 365 days ago when I posted "Day 1" this day seemed so far away, unreachable, but here I finally am. I have done it, but I know this project is just the beginning. I am not done.

All my battles have been won, but the war has just begun.

Thank you everyone how has been with me through all this and who will continue to be by my side. Thank you!

Pain

Day 365:
I figured since I devoted a whole month to this location I should revisit this place one last time.

If this wasn't a leap year today I would have completed a 365 project, but it is a leap year and that one extra day is what truly claims my redemption.

Having made it through 365 this is not something I would recommend to anyone. In fact I implore you NOT to ever do a 365! Keep photography where it belongs, as something you love to do and can just pick up the camera and shoot when you want to, not picking up the camera because you have to. When you have to is when you start to lose the passion and it becomes a chore.

Keep the love and only shoot when inspired.

Come Monday I will claim my redemption and I will fade away from this daily chore and step into the world where I only do uploads when I want and have real time to work on instead of this daily thing that has really become an irritating, high stress chore. I cannot wait to claim my redemption and the love of this hobby.

The first "real" snow has finally fallen this season. Even though I was hoping it did not come this year I still felt it necessary to rush home and get a quick shot in before it was way too dark to capture anything out side.

Day 360:

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

I thought instead of coming up with a Christmas themed photograph I would just photograph the children opening gifts, but as I found out that is no easy task. It is especially difficult at 5 am with the room bursting with excitement while I have drowsy eyes. This was the best of the lot. Not a terrible shot, but I really wish the other two could have been featured as well.

More Than Ever

I have been sick way more than I ever have before this year. Usually I only get sick once every two years, but this year I have been sick four or five times... I am not liking it. I only have eight more days left in this project and I don't want to be sick when I complete this.

After pondering over it for awhile I have decided to take my own advice. I am going to live differently, an entire new outlook. I am not promising anything outlandish, but I am making feasible changes like letting go of the small things, the things I hold on to that I let bother me when they make little or no impact on my life. It's time to let go, it's time to move on. It's time to be happier.
