The British Museum, in London, United Kingdom, is vastly regarded to be one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its eternal collection, containing roughly eight million works, is amongst the broadest and most comprehensive in existence and originates from all continents.

The British Museum was constructed in 1753, widely based on the collections of the physician and scientist Sir Hans Sloane. The museum first opened its doors to the public on 15 January 1759.

As much as I really enjoy using Flickr, I think that I should produce my own website. I will be studying a BSc Photography course next month for 3 years & all my degree work will be shown on there. I will still continue to upload to Flickr from time to time, but not as often. Feel free to like the website, this is available at the bottom of every page. Check out my blog - will be upadated as I progress with my degree.

It's hard trying to find a perfect angle for such a marvellous piece of architecture like this, but i think that the key to this, is always shooting upwards, so you get a real understanding of how huge it is!

As a student, soon off to University, I find it hard and difficult to return the genuine comments and favourites, therefore I thank you for kind words, views & fav's! :)
