This knife is for sale for only 5 euro at the moment in Aldi stores.
Its blade is 10cm long and it has a very nice grip.
Sharpness is good but nothing too extreme.
As seen on the photo it comes with a protector for the blade.
If you are used to blades of steel then you have to get used a bit to the feel of ceramic.
Making salads is a lot more fun now than it used to be. xD

A beautiful lamp that I have found in the trash about a year ago.
This is also one of the very few objects that I'm holding on to. ( and its my only lamp )
Rediscovering the square format allowed me to take a ''good'' photo of the lamp.
It reminds me of a squid or some kind of octopus here.

First try out of using the 6x6 format of my digital camera.
A portrait photo of my partner.
This is no crop!
Freehand, with available light only.

I love square format for portraits, detail shots or for example symmetry.
In 2010 I have been shooting a decent amount of medium format film mostly in black-white.
Also did some experimenting with developing the film in coffee.
However I am someone who likes to take a photo and be happy with it instead of sliding sliders for hours or messing around with chemicals.

I also do not like to pay 1 euro per print or 180 for a scanner to slide sliders again for hours.
This is why I am back to digital.
Yet.. I love the square format and I am happy that my camera has integrated this format as a native format.
No cropping and most important no fake shit like hipsta insta fuck your indie fake art apps.
The only post processing like always is a TINY change of curves.

There are many benefits or using a square format.
For example:
- it uses the strongest part of your lens.
- You do not have to worry which way to hold your camera.
- Better to use for many subjects where symmetry is desired.
- Awesome for close and personal portraits.

Expect more square format photos in the future again.
What do you think of digital 6X6 if its a native intgerated format?
I could imagine that many medium format purists would not like the idea.
