The Sun Shines for Mary

leannrlee posted a photo:

My son doesn't meet a stranger. He gets that from me. This afternoon I had to go to the doctor and as usual, that led to a trip to the pharmacy. Fortunately for me, I met a remarkable lady. She was reading a book and asked if I knew what Stage Four meant. I told her Stage Four was terminal cancer, I thought. She then told me today she was diagnosed with Stage Two breast cancer. I don't know what I was thinking, but I said, "Congratulations! That means it is treatable!" She thanked me-sincerely. She was probably the most enthusiastic person I have ever met, especially to have been told that very same day she had cancer. She was excited and happy, anxious to start her chemo treatments. I asked for her name to add it to my prayer list and it is Mary Cloud. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I have learned to never underestimate the power of prayer and positive thinking. Thank you Lord for each sunrise and sunset I see, and I pray it's Your will that Ms. Mary Cloud gets to see many many more too.
