The clouds finally found their way behind the bridge, but unfortunately the incoming tide kept me from staying for the sunset as I did not feel like swimming back to the beach.

I've attempted to get a shot of these rock formations with the bridge behind them a few times now. This is the best sunset I've come across so far. Im hoping for something a little better in the near future. This shot will have to do for now.

Shooting from this spot was a bit of a challenge for me compositionally so I'll have to keep working on it. But I do like the natural vignette and cloud movement of this one so I posted it anyways.

A song from the The Strokes new album Comedown Machine. Be sure to check it out. It's a unique Strokes album to say the least, but I am liking it more and more each day. Plus I feel like it (especially this particular song) channels a kind of modern throwback to John Lennons' solo music sound, which of course suits me very well.

Had even more fun with Photoshop on this self portrait from the Central Coast. I had been listening to a lot of the Red Hot Chili Peppers album Stadium Arcadium at the time and I think this shot has a similar feel to the albums cover/theme.

There's no doubt I miss the Central Coast, but having this beach/view nearby is quite a nice condolence.
