Went to Karl's Happy hour at Romolo and hung out with the Hotwire UX team. Henry swung by and we grabbed dinner nearby. This pic is of an alley we passed by on the way to dinner.

Nolan, my little man. I wasn't sure what I was more proud of- him getting his baseball trophy for the great season as part of a single A team or for putting together a bookshelf and learning to use a drill on his own.

I feel lucky that the boys and I can have fun simple moments like these. This is one of our favorite things to do in the summer - mess around with water on a hot day. Though for some reason Grayson wanted to do it in the front yard. So I couldn't exactly hop into the swim suit and play with them like I usually do in the backyard.

Holy cow, kindergarten seemed to last a long time this year. It's hard for me to believe that he is going to be a first grader already. This is Gson and his best buds.

For the latter half of the day we got dropped off at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. It was so fun just hanging out and eating junk food and going on a couple of our favorite rides. I loved the Giant Dipper! It's been forever since I rode it. It was an awesome afternoon.

It was nice to have the week off. I loved being at home when the boys came home from school. This pic is of Grayson running into my room as soon as he got home. He plopped down on my bed as if all of his 4 hours of school was so tiring.

Spent the afternoon looking for office space for the startup. I liked this one the best. I guess we shall see where we end up.

Hopefully this will be the last plane ride for a while. The boys loved flying and were fascinated with going through the clouds. They reminded me of how cool flying is. (I bet after 2 hours though it wouldn't have been so fascinating...)
