There seemed to be nearly a dozen tall bikes circling the first group of artcars in the Doo Dah Parade. I need to meet these folks and learn how to build one before my next family visit to the Netherlands!

After a week of travel for work, we spent 3 days and nights on Kelley's Island. While I have been to Put-in-Bay more than enough, I prefer the laid back nature of Kelley's....not to mention the pitcher(s) of Brandy Alexander at the Village Pump. The limestone ledge along the water has the perfect shaped glacial groove to nap upon.

Hobby Lobby sells itself on being a "Christian" company, though they certainly lie to and cheat their customers. They don't care that their products could harm the 1000's of children and adults who come in contact with That Car #3.

You wouldn't expect a "Christian" company to conduct business in such a manner, however, it isn't very Christian to be one of the wealthiest 200 people in the United States while taking advantage of Chinese sweatshop labor like David Green, Hobby Lobby CEO.

I spent a few hours one Saturday morning removing the glass beads from That Car while parked in front of the store I bought them from. The two police officers who were called to the scene said they would also be concerned with the glass beads when they saw all the flakes of red that came off on my hands. They said I "riled them up" in the store and asked me to leave, but explained that it was fine for me to stay.

I regret ever spending money at this evil empire. Below are a few more examples of lawsuits and claims against Hobby Lobby.....not very Christian!

Spyder and his display of skunks. He was disappointed that he couldn't bring his (real) pet skunk. While pets are not prohibitted at Hot Times, they are certainly discouraged.....especially a skunk!

While not exactly an artcar, this is one cool truck....all the way from Seattle Washington. I've admired this thing around the neighborhood for some time, while at the same time, Casey (?) admired the artcars. As a vendor, he was ablte to park just behind his booth. I hope he continues to exhibit with the artcars so we can install a private lounge in the back for festival breaks....
