This is Lilly , our oldest grand daughter. She is Meagans step daughter from her first marriage and sadly she lives in California so we don't get to see her all the time. She is visiting for the summer and let me take her out for a photo shoot. We had such a fun time this morning. Would like honest opinions on what I could have done to make this shot better. I shot with the kit lens on my Sony A550.

This little fellow kept us amused on our vacation trip.He / or she would fly right up to our faces and talk to us. I never knew that Humming birds made a sound ! He or she is a Common Emerald Hummingbird. I have lots more shots to show but I loved how it finally set for a few minutes in this tree. We vacationed in Cloudcroft New Mexico and stayed in a lovely home in the Lincoln National Forest. If you would like more info on the cabin or area here is a link.

Meet KoKo. KoKo is a Kokopelli and stands one inch tall. He is the piece I use when playing board games. We bought him on vacation this year.
Kokopelli is a Hopi word
meaning (roughly) wooden-backed;
most of the familiar depictions of
Kokopelli are copied from Hopi art,
which in turn is derived from ancient Anasazi glyphs.
