Exploding fruit.
Another wee session of shooting stuff in my little toilet studio. Only 2 useable shots though, only just learning how fruit reacts to lead travelling at 650 feet per second, let's just say it makes a mess.........

Day 58
Exploding fruit.

Still got a couple more shots from Friday nights shooting spree.
I had this shot in mind before I started, these glasses were 20p each from the charity shop, I think for the effect I wanted I'll need bigger ones, which means more liquid and more mess!

Never mind, today I think I'll pop out and buy some fruit!!

Using Perspex shooting table, 3 speedlights, 1 below, 1 behind and 1 front left triggered using the Phototrigger audio trigger. Had to mak some adjustments to the contrast here as it was a little blown out.

Teddys Day Out - SNIPER!!

Should've been a happy day out for the teddys, he's playing with his ball, she's reading her book, then all off a sudden, Mrs teddy is taken out by a sniper as Mr teddy looks on stunned.

These guys were sitting just like this on the shelf in the charity shop, as soon as I saw the look on his face I knew this shot had to happen. Maybe just a touch too early on this one as there wasn't much left of her after this.

Day 55

So, today I built a little studio for some 'smashing' fun, yes your right, it is a bathroom. Its a room upstairs in the building we're renovating and a nicely sized little room where I can contain the flying glass etc, and the toilet might come in handy if I accidently shoot one of my speedlights.
Check the notes to see whats what.
I paid a visit to the local charity shop for some goodies to smash, had great fun in here tonight, got some cracking shots, be sure and check back..............................

Thought after breaking out the flowers yesterday, I thought I'd better get back to normal today and break out some guns!

Lighting;
Speedlight low under gun fired bare, another fired through snoot from 1 oclock high, both fired by the Phototrigger audio trigger.

Nooo not the beer!

Another shot I was looking forward to doing. I spent a good while shooting plastic cups here trying to get the timing right, I wasnt that confident I was going to catch the shot the way I wanted (and didnt want to have to waste another pint) so it was a big relief when I saw I'd manged to get the hit.

Shot fired from underneath camera, speedlight bounced off white card at rear, another in a cut out pringles can front right, both fired by audio trigger on the Phototrigger.

Day 21, 3 weeks in and still enjoying it. This was taken last night and I might have to 'cheat' a little more over the next week as I'm moving house. Plus I couldn't NOT have this as part of my 366!

I found the Ali G mask in the back of my car and had to get a shot with it since Eddie says I'm not allowed a gas mask without paying him royalties.
