Ones of my favorite shots from Seaside, it's not one I setup, nor were any of the other ones since it was basically walk and shoot inside the structure trying not to overstay but had fun just processing this one a bit with the odd effect the frosted glass had on the highlights.

Found some ancient fuses on the counter-top of one of the break rooms. With some of the styling I just thought of Bioshock and Rapture. Check out my friend's take on it. He was armed with only an 18-55mm kit and I had only my 10-20mm, it was pretty challenging with the wide especially with the low light and lack of tripods.

Taken at the Seaside Sanatorium, looking through the flights of stairs from one of the wells. Went for square crop to see how it is. Will be posting a couple more shots tomorrow, definitely was a neat trip inside.

Valley Railroad had annual winter/christmas time running of the steam engine today and was able to go with my friend to catch it passing by in Deep River. Got ok/meh comps for most of my shots but chose to upload this one for the smoke definition itself.

This and my other upload today are just some fun shots I did while out with my friends Kevin and Smith_of_blades. I figured I'd take a stab at the cloning process, I went over the image with a mellow yellow hipster feeling to make it more organic. Editing the colors was fun, may try another one or so later.

I went to RI to celebrate my Grandma's 75th birthday and I figured I'd try and get some new content on the stream since it has been a month or so. This was my favorite, it's a very quick exposure of the connecting buildings to my hotel that spans a little underneath a mile in square coverage (seems like anyways). I went here with some of my family members and we explored the place and such. It was a great time and although I don't think my photos came out decent at all, it was definitely worth it.

My favorite shot from yesterday with my friend as we shot to make sure our sensors weren't screwed from the extreme temperatures we put them in the past few weeks. Turns out a rock with frozen water up to its top makes a good overhead map of skyrim and middle earth lol.

Had to go out and redo the shot a bit, came out just about the same exact thing since I shot around the same time, but I wanted to post to froknows and needed more light on the center trunk then was previously available. The color isn't quite the same as my first and second attempt but it came out fine I think. 8 shots this time.

My favorite of today's new year's set. This was just a handheld shot around 2 feet above the rails that I grabbed with my 10-20. I went with my developing style of slight sepia/gold split tone on a black and white, turned out decent I think.

No shots of the falls themselves yet but I enjoy this more so since the sun was cutting the falls into highlights and shadows making those shots hard to do. This, however, was a 2 shot HDR I did handheld while I was under the bridge. The water reflections did a good deal bringing light to the bottom of the beams.

Another one of my ultra contrast BW images of a church. Nothing out of the normal but the shopping process for this type of thing is extremely fun. Would've liked more clouds in the shot but perhaps I'll add some in and call it a manip?

One of the details taken at Wadsworth today. Finally found the parking lot that has access to the Big Falls area, was a pretty heavy flow of water as well. I'm going to need an ND filter to do these properly but that'll come with time, nothing I can't make do without for the moment.

My favorite of today's very few shots, was on top very top of the slide seen in 'Sliding By'. Was just barely able to get this, may redo by pushing out an inch or two more to get the bottom american logos uncovered more for better repetition.

Not exactly what I had in mind for the shot but the grunge and high contrast the sky and buildings presented couldn't be left alone. This is a 4-5 shot HDR that I really only did for the sky highlight and brick surfaces.

Ok so after salivating over my new sigma 10-20 box I figured I had to go out for a ultra quick test of it. I wasn't ever fully happy with my other locomotive shots but now at 10mm I can finally get the perspective done right. The north star was captured in here at the top with the ultra wide angle but I did take it out as this is an HDR and dotted across the sky. I'm impressed by the new sigma and can't wait for better subject matter. Also I see why people are afraid of scratching their front elements, I was less than 2 and half feet away but the image looks zoomed lol.

My favorite shot from today (possibly in a while too) when I went out for a few hours with a friend. This is an IR shot @ 720nm and channel mixed for added effect. It's not of the typical color schemes but it fits the place the best imo, a nice clean blue and white sky is too generous for the state of disrepair.

Mmk so Skyrim this weekend, 24+ hours logged on the PC for it and well worth it. Friends and I took a quick night session back at Niantic to shoot but I didn't get anything at all so I scrapped this together from an exposure of the wood docklets there.

Ok so first of, I was ridiculously dumb doing this and the others I took after, had aperture down a lot when I could've take just relatively slow shutter speeds and gotten no motion blur. So I'll need to redo this next weekend or next sunny and hopefully partly cloudy day. Overall though I'm pleased with the inexpensive IR filters, a little soft but it works great, may post the 950nm shots.

Went out for an hour in town to do a photo session with a friend of mine. Was turning dark when I took this and the different sky gradients were a cool effect.
