Ich habe meinen Mann zur Reha-Klinik begleitet und danach für ein paar Tage in einer Pension eingecheckt. Dies ist der Zimmerschlüssel und das passende Türschild meines Pensionszimmers!

I accompanied my husband to rehab and then checked in for a few days in a guesthouse. This is the room key and the matching door sign my Guest Room!

Dies ist die letzte Seite meines elften Skizzenbuches.
Es wird ein stressiger Tag - tausend und eine Erledigung, unzählige Autofahrten, da mein Mann morgen endlich in die Reha-Klinik kommt. Seine Taschen und Koffer sind gepackt.

This is the last page of my sketchbook eleventh.
It will be a stressful day - a thousand and one execution, countless road trips, my husband finally comes into the rehab clinic tomorrow. His bags and suitcases are packed .

Seit mein Mann neue Medikamente nehmen muss, ist er Bluter. Daher habe ich ihm diesen SOS-Kettenanhänger geschenkt, damit man im Notfall reagieren kann.

Since my husband has to take new medications, he's hemophiliac. Therefore, I have given him this SOS pendant, so that one can react in an emergency.

Der Sekundenkleber steht seit mehr als 5 Jahren im Kühlschrank, damit er jederzeit einsatzbereit ist und nicht aushärtet.

The superglue is for more than 5 years in the refrigerator so it is always ready for use and does not harden.

Mein Mann hatte heute Heißhunger auf Himbeeren, Weintrauben, Nussschokolade, Blätterteigbrezel !
Weil er sofort anfing zu naschen, hatte ich nur Zeit für eine schnelle Zeichnung !!

My husband had today cravings for raspberries, grapes, nut chocolate, flaky pastry pretzel !
Because he immediately began to nibble, I only had time for a quick drawing !!

Bei der vom Arzt verordneten Auszeit die Zimmerdecke auf den Kopf gefallen ist, bin ich spazieren gegangen und habe beim Bäcker pausiert, gezeichnet und Kaffee getrunken. Aus Zufall lernte ich dort eine Nachbarin von uns kennen und unterhielt mich toll mit ihr. Das Leben ist immer für Überraschungen gut !

In the prescribed timeout by the doctor the ceiling "fell" on my head, I went for a walk and took a break at the bakery, drawing a little bit and drinking yummiyummi coffee. By coincidence I met there a neighbor of us and talked nicely to her. Life is always full of surprises !

In all den Tagen begegnete ich immer einer älteren Dame in der Uniklinik. Wir kamen ins Gespräch. Heute hat sie auf mich gewartet und mir diesen kleinen Blumenstrauß geschenkt, weil ich mir für ihre Geschichten Zeit genommen haben, obgleich ich eigene Sorgen habe.

In all the days I ever met an elderly lady in the university hospital. We started talking. Today she has been waiting for me and given me this small bouquet, because I have taken time for her stories, although I have my own worries.

Nach all den unzähligen Stunden in der Uniklinik habe ich mir heute eine Auszeit genommen und bin zum Antik- und Trödelmarkt gefahren. Dort habe ich diese Tasche gefunden, die perfekt zu meiner Jeanskleidung passt. Der gehandelte Preis ist unschlagbar - 1 Euro !!

After all the countless hours in the university hospital, I took a break today and I went to the antique and flea market. There I found this bag that fits perfectly with my denim clothes. The traded price is unbeatable - 1 Euro !!

Finde keinen Schlaf, muss mich ablenken. Mein Mann hatte seinen zweiten Schlaganfall und Herzkammerflimmern. Ich habe den Rettungswagen und Notarzt gerufen. Sie haben ihn gleich in die Uniklinik gebracht, nach vielen Untersuchungen liegt er nun auf der Intensivstation. Jetzt kann ich nur noch hoffen und warten ...

My husband has given me this little bubbly more than 9 years ago at our first meeting in his hometown.

Mein heutiges Mittagessen - selbstgemachte Pizza (Hefeteig, Sojajoghurt, Tomaten, fettarmer Schinken) - nicht nur köstlich, sondern auch gesund : nur 310 Kalorien, 18 Gramm Eiweiß, 5 Gramm Fett, 40 Gramm Kohlenhydrate - so schmeckt es gleich doppelt so gut !!

My lunch today - homemade pizza (yeastdough, soyyogurt, tomato, lowfat bacon) - not only delicious but also healthy : only 310 calories, 18 grams of protein, 5 grams fat, 40 grams of carbohydrates - so it tastes twice as good !!

Was für ein herrlicher Sonntag! Sonne, blauer Himmel, Trödelmarkt, Oldtimermarkt, verkaufsoffener Sonntag und dann auch noch eine neue Lieblingstasse für meinen Mann! Ich benutze die gleiche Tasse in rot schon seit Jahren.

What a glorious Sunday! Sun, blue sky, flea market, Oldtimer market, Sunday opening and then also a new favorite mug for my husband! I use the same cup in the red for years.
