This is an overall layout of the group quilt I am helping with. It is a Storm at Sea quilt using Wendy Mathson's new book and rulers. I really liked the rulers for a group quilt. They kept all the blocks even. McKenna Ryan fusible applique block is a lot of fun and allows me to alter it to fit our needs. Our boss has a vacation beach place they love to go to.

This is a group quilt that I have the privilege to be working on. It is a combination of a McKenna Ryan fusible applique block and a Wendy Mathson Storm at Sea design. It will be a gift for our boss who is retiring soon.

Bird's eye view or the couch was too crowded with cats and I just had to sit with my Grandma!

I have been working on a quilt that has a tea party theme. Here is what I have so far. I will put the handles on once the cups are on the table (...quilt!) I am designing teapots and spoons too. More to come.

Her quilt won at Mid Atlantic several years ago and it was a gorgeous quilt. Her applique and embroidery is exquisite! I can only hope my meager attemp will do her patterns a little justice. This will be a toddler quilt for a pretty 4 year old.

Mostly Kaffe Fassett fabrics. I machine piece and applique. I used nylon thread with a fine zig zag for the circles and have freezer paper to stabilize the bias cut fabrics.

I took this cute class at my LQS, Linderellas', and learned how to make Karen Atkinson's (Atkinson Designs) Bridget's Bagettes pouch. It has a clear vinyl front so you can see the contents and zips closed to keep all your 'stuff' inside.
