not exactly drinking water quality, but very close to it.

this is the outlet (not the inlet). smell is not too bad but noticeable from 1 kilometres. directly here strangely there is not much bad smell.

but definitively there is some wastewater stench.

this is a small road at ringsend, near the wastewater treatment plant.

even here, re-entry is now prevented with concrete.

the land here is experiencing development.

not so much foam here. they say it has drinking water quality but I would not be too sure about that.

you can see algae growing here on top of the outlet.

the processed wastes from 2 million people. well not all of that goes to ringsend but it's still reasonably volume.

there have been permanent pitches here in 2004 also 10 to 15 temporary chalets.

closed down now, and re-entry prevented with boulders.

people who work here for sure are very passionate about human waste (feces).

one of the most modern processing plants in Europe.

not sure if it remains from travellers they had chalets near here as well. but they are also gone now and this stuff does not look very old.
