I'm back and it feels so good! I'm off at college now and school work is keeping me busy but I've been feeling really inspired lately and I'm determined to stick with my photography. The dress is a vintage one I got from my grandma and I'm in love with it.

one of the photos from this picture that i really like. these caterpillars were all over the plantation in louisiana. i picked one up and carried it around with me while i took pictures, then i found out that the one i had picked up was poisonous. ha, stuuupid.

sorry i haven't been uploading lately. i've been really busy with school. these are some photos i took while i was in louisiana over spring break. i had so much fun there! i stayed in a plantation home for the first half of the week, then we went a beach house in grand isle. the culture and people there are so different from what i'm used to. it was nice though. i want to go back.

p.s. while we were swimming in the gulf of mexico, a dolphin jumped out of the water not 100 feet in front of us! it completely made my day. i love dolphins. they're so fascinating.

this is the plantation home next to the one we stayed in while we were in louisiana. the backyard was absolutely beautiful and flowers were blooming on both sides of the walkway. at the back of the property there was this really cool, old tower. i'll be posting more pictures from the trip later!

this was taken on a dock during my vacation in South Padre Island, Texas two summers ago. this was a couple days before Hurricane Alex hit the Gulf of Mexico.
