Had the pleasure of second shooting a wedding at the Detroit Yacht Club with B and V recently. It was a marathon, twelve hours, but it flew by thanks to the happy couple, and the fantastic company of my fellow photogs. I think I did a lot of things better on this wedding than any other ive been a part of to date, got more comfortable and saw things better. With that said I think I could have been better on the technical side of things, and its become painfully clear that the D200 is no longer going to cut it for me. Despite that though, im quite pleased with how the day went, cant wait to go through everything I took.

This shot was taken while the groom was giving a nice little speech and the bride was attentively listening. I really love the light falling on her.

When youre under the weather and cleaning the workstation you sometimes come across things you havent seen or thought of for a long time. This shot and this place used to be on my mind a lot, but it has been some time since ive given it any thought. I had to force it from my memory, but now that ive seen it again, I really miss it and I want to go back. Now I just have to figure out a way to get to Oregon.
