It was one of the morning sunrise light long exposure study in Fort Point with this bridge. I wish there was some clouds in the sky. It is not easy to see it in the summer time. Thanks for looking my photos!

Morning Clouds - Golden Gate Bridge

The clouds formation in two layers this morning over the Golden Gate Bridge. Something was interesting to see. The water reflection was a totally accident to find it . However, I have to shoot it in very low angle in order to see the bridge tower in the reflection. Have a nice weekend!

Fog City - San Francisco

Sometimes the fog will cover the whole city and the GGB tower that you may only see fog from Hawk Hill, sometimes that you may not see the GGB that you're in the fog, somethings that you may see the fog covers the city but not the GGB this time.

The view in here to see the GGB never the same each time in here , day and night :). This time was during the twilight blue moment with fog.

The magic touch with the south bay by the bright moonlight :) The water reflection and the clouds texture in the sky over the city. It was like the mystical San Francisco. The full moon is coming this Thursday, are you ready to chase the moon ?

To chase the moonlight isn't easy to play with mother nature. Not every time is lucky with the weather condition. This time was with more clouds over the Golden Gate Bridge in the morning before the moonset time. Well, that is the best I can do with it. I did not see the moonset colors with these colors :). The full moon will be in next Thursday. I hope the weather will be nice with clear sky. Check it out if you can.

Morning Fog - Marin Headlands

The early morning fog rolled into the bay this morning that it covered partial of the Marin Headlands but leave the city alone :). No Golden Gate Bridge towers that you can see , only the Sutro Tower still stand there. The fog formation was interesting to see it from Mt. Tamalpais. I wish they open the gate early that I can be in this east peak to see the sunrise colors or the dawn colors :) May be next time.

When the weather condition is right in the morning that bridge has the magic touch -> glowing colors + blue sky :) You may see it in your eyes if you can wake up early in the morning to catch such colors. A new perspective to see this bridge tower in the morning One of my lucky snapshot in the morning color study.

The human size in perspective in scale with the golden gate bridge tower. Do you know how tall is that golden gate bridge tower? how tall is the human height how about that dog? or that bird? This is my 3rd time come here to take the long shot for the perspective view of the bridge tower study. I have to take it in bridge day light for bit faster shutter speed. You may see the heat wave in between these people and the tower You may see it in your eyes or with your long lens to compress the view. Something new for me to try in such photography. Still have lots to learn.

Palace of Fine Arts with Golden Gate Bridge -> it is a new perspective to see these landmarks in the city. I was accidentally see it last night when I chase the moonrise in Marin headlands. A totally new thing for me to see how beautiful this city in a new way. I will share the my moonrise shot late . It was very dramatic with some clouds. Have a very nice day!

Chase the moonlight at Treasure Island in a windy morning. It wasn't easy to click this lucky snapshot :). Hard to stable the tripod in such condition. I will try it again tomorrow if the weather condition is right and hope for the best for the moonset :)

Golden Gate tolls all-electronic March 27 2013

In less than 3 weeks, Golden Gate Bridge toll collectors will end. On March 27, the bridge will become the first in the state and one of the first in the nation to collect all tolls electronically.

Commuters and others who cross the landmark span regularly can either use FasTrak - as about 70 percent of the bridge's users already do - or establish license plate accounts tied to a bank account or credit card.

Drivers who simply zip through will receive an invoice - not a citation - after toll cameras capture their license plates. FasTrak users get a $1 discount off the $6 toll all other auto drivers pay.

I did not have a chance to snap the moonrise today? do you have a chance to see it? I like to share a moonset shot with you instead of the moorise :)
You may see many star trails shots before but not the moonset trail :). On the other hand, can you explain how fast the earth rotation speed in about 5 minites? or how fast the moon move? it was about between 1 to 2 degree? Have you seen the moonrise/moonset? She moves fast :)
