Snow melting higher up in the mountains cascading down the mountainside with spring green trees on both sides of the waterfall.

For the first time this year I could walk home from work without risking a broken neck from slipping on the ice. And the ice is melting in the river too, didn't have my ND filters with me, but looking forward to Saturday, maybe a long walk with the camera bag and tripod along the river.

Lens: Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G
Exposure: 1.6 sec @ ƒ22, ISO 100
HDR: 3 exposures (+/- 1EV)

From this mornings photowalk in Oslo. New sprung leaves still in the process of being pumped full of chlorophyll as you can see from the red/yellow edges.

The background is blacked out by using a flash and the other exposure settings below and working at the near limit of the lens. I did want to see a little of the branch though so I instead of my normal setting of f/22 I opened up a little bit to f/18

Exposure: 1/250 sec @ ƒ18, ISO 100
Flash: SB-R1 Kit

One of the many waterfalls in Akerselva that was covered in ice during the winter. You can still see the remains of the ice on both sides.

Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 16-85 f/3.5-5.6G ED VR @ 24mm
Exposure: 1.6 sec @ ƒ4, ISO 100 (2 ƒ-stops overexposed to compensate for filters)
HDR: 3 exposures (+/- 1EV)
Filters: Cokin ND8 + ND8 + ND4
