Accidentally, I noticed a pattern of flight with the Common Terns rummaging through older photographs this morning and it looked like a slanted cross. This was not planned or captured deliberately, it was plain sheer luck.

Three American Oystercatcher's eggs lay in the sand. I discovered them while walking the beach. I informed the Hempstead Conservation people and he came immediately. I helped him place the a roped off area surrounding these eggs. After we completed the task, I took a quick shot of her eggs.
