Polaroid 360 Land Camera // Fuji FP-3000B

These were the last successful shots I've been able to get out of that camera. It's obvious now that the timer needs to come off. I was having to pop the back open to get each frame out, hence the white light leak in the center of the frame. In this case, it's absolutely perfect. In the case of the frame that exploded chemicals all over my hands just before we called it a day... Not so perfect.

Very excited to announce the soft opening of my print shop! Check out my profile for a link.

It's been a long time coming. Currently, all profits will go to recover the costs of a self-guided residency in Iceland I will be going on this summer. Most of all, though, I'm excited to get my photography off the computer screen and into people's hands.

This shot is from Portland Comic Con, where a family constructed a ~~life~~ 3/4-size Totoro to cosplay as. So amazing!

Polaroid SX70 // PX100 Silver Shade Film

Not sure on the settings since it was a bit of a last minute decision to take it at all -- I just happened to have my SX70 in my purse at the Con. I'm guessing my dial was set to neutral as I didn't have much time to fiddle before another herd of crazed fans ran up for photos.

Definitely developed it in my armpit though. :)

I can't even count how many afternoons we've spent sitting at a pond watching ducks swim around. It's the #1 thing we did when we first started dating. Well, #2 if you count smooching. :) Almost 10 years later and we still like watching the ducks. It's peaceful, and I have personally always enjoyed the Aflac commercials.

Polaroid Land Camera 360 // Fuji FP-100C

Double exposure
Dial set 100% Darken
Developed in pit for 2 minutes

Experiencing some tension in my "new" 360 for the first few frames of each pack. At first, I sacrificed the first three frames -- the problem seems to go away completely after the fourth frame. Such a shame even at the low cost of 75 cents a pop.

But this time I ever-so-slightly opened up the back of the camera to pull out the tab and film. There are some faint light leaks on the rest of the pack. This white blob, I'm guessing, is due to chemicals not spreading evenly since the back was slightly opened. Pretty neat. Makes me want to experiment with it some more.

So, maybe I took a Polaroid of my computer monitor. And maybe that computer monitor was displaying a portrait of Chris that I took using Hipstamatic's fake tintype filter.

Maybe.

I never really liked rules anyway.
