OK, I've had it with security guards. This is a refinery in Long Beach, CA. I'm shooting this from the middle of a public street. 50 yards from their property and as soon as I set my tripod down, A security guard pulled up behind me. The guard was reporting my every move to someone on the other end of a 2-way radio. "what do you think you're doing?" "you can't be taking pictures here" "why are you taking pictures of private property?"
I know, I know "He's just doing his job." To that I say bullshit. "911" "terrorists want to blow up Long Beach" bla, bla bla. To him I say this; Look DB, you put up a giant flag as a spectacle. Didn't you think people would take pictures? yes, of course you did, that's why you put it up. If you want to preach "fighting to secure America" then go back to school and study the very constitution that you are spitting on by telling me I can't take a picture on a public street. Then come back and fight for my rights. The same rights that are the backbone of this country. Not "kicking-ass, cheeseburgers and Chevy trucks." F$#%&*^ Douche bag. OK, I'm done now.
