&lt;p&gt;A 30-HP White Steamer nearly identical to this one was the third auto in Fairbanks, arriving by sternwheeler in the fall of 1908! You can imagine the interest the giant steamer generated when transporting passengers between Fairbanks and Fox.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
White Steamers were part of the White House's first official automobile fleet.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
