Along Mealabost beach there is a rocky escarpment which extends into the sea. At low tide it's fully exposed and amongst the seaweed are piles of broken shells. In one or two places the sea hasn't managed to entirely smash the shells and there's this wide selection of colours, patterns and shapes.

"Strimmer Monkey" (in his bonnetless Fiesta) in action again against Norrie Macdonald in a Mondeo Zetec. The Fiesta's best time was 16.22 secs, the Mondeo's 15.90 secs.

The blue came from the window behind and the sepia colour was from an halogen heater. The white balance was on Tungsten.

L.E.D. lights shone through the bottom of a crystal tumbler. The lower refractions are from the glass jar I sat the tumbler on.
