Roughly sketched this about a year ago, got bored of it and it stayed lost and forgotten.
Blew the dust off my Wacom last week and decided to have a final shot of it. Here be the results

SO ashamed at myself for not doing any photography in any way, shape, or form for what feels like months. How am I going to improve if I haven't picked up a camera?
But then I thought, yeah I seriously need to get better at photography, but for someone on an art course, my art is SO BAD. I look at everyone else's amazing work and it makes me feel so crap.

So here's my plan - I do a piece of art every single day. Hopefully improving each time. Let's call it a 365 day project and take it from there. I will not let myself make excuses, I'll draw on a napkin with some soup if it comes to it!

My challenge starts with my next upload, here goes..

For valentines day my boyfriend got me the most amazing present in the form of a trip to York.
I've always wanted to visit and so glad we did, it's the most beautiful, breath-taking city.

Friends. There are few people who obtain this label from me. But the ones who do are the people who mean the most to me, the people who make me who I am, the people I couldn't live without.
After a long, stressful day, I found myself cleaning my room at 2am. I picked this up from amongst the clutter. A Christmas present from a friend, with a note. After reading it I was instantly cheered up and reminded that things really aren't all that bad.

So yeah, dedicated to one of the nicest people I know. He'll never see this, but I don't mind.

My hands are stained.

I'm so sick of using Brusho inks at college, and coming home with hands that look like they haven't seen any form of h2o in weeks.
This is after vigorously taking a nail scrubber and soap to them..

SOOC.
As much as I cannot stand my face in any way shape or form, I quite liked the harsh lighting and shadows in this picture.
So here is a very rare upload of my face, with freshly dyed hair (original reason I took the picture)
Enjoy my out of focus tip of a bedroom in the background :)

My first EVER attempt at a drypoint print, I'm pretty proud considering I've never done one in my life :)

Never got round to taking anything remotely decent for week three, so i'll have to make do with this for my 52 week project. Slight reflection on the fact I'm going to get nowhere with it :./

Week 2
I took this when walking to get my train to go to college, so glad I had my camera on me!

The colours here are exactly how it was when I was walking and apart from removing a couple of orange dots that were distant street lights, this picture has not been edited in any way.
