Fantahala, or the vagabond;s cave. It's a small mountain cave named after a group of vagabonds who sought shelter there on the run from the local police for not paying their taxes

We stopped the Helleren Fjord Restaurant for the most wonderful waffles and cream. The location for this little feast couldn't have been more idyllic

I kept seeing faces in the rock but they disappeared as quickly as they appeared. Can you see the horse's head and another pace here?

This really is the Preikestolen or the Pulpit Rock, which os on the skyline almost in the centre of the photo. It's 600 metres above the fjord, which is almost 2000 feet up and was formed 10,000 years ago during the last ice age when the edge of the glacier was just above the mountain.
