Allan England ~ Photography posted a photo:

Inspired by my old poncho from childhood! This series is created from my earlier post of the Digital Art version of the sunrise at Blyth Beach.

View On White

I'm finally starting to get a handle on how I want to crop and display these images. The view I hold is that I'd like to transform landscapes and seascapes into an alternative medium, namely that of impressionism or modern art.

By taking the natural colours and lines of a sunrise on a beach I want to stretch that image to see where it can go. I love the vibrant colours from this sunrise that I have further pushed using the vibrance and saturation functions as well as contrast. The image has had several passes with motion blur each time changing the level of pixels from 100 to 999 and keeping the angle at 0 degrees. Then putting the final image at a 45 degree angle and making a selection of crops.

What's really nice about this art form is that I can still capture the beautiful aspect of nature in a traditional landscape/seascape but then also see it in a modern art form!

Hope you enjoy it and hey there's a whole load more to come!

Cheers!
